Senior Perfumer Mathieu Nardin infuses two tea notes: earthy, meditative matcha accord brewed with crisp green tea energy, tinged with mild sweetness through a top note of nashi pear. The woody, aromatic facets of rich amberwood in the base are released, slow and steady.

Meet the Perfumer

Mathieu Nardin

Born in Grasse along the French Riviera, Nardin spent his childhood in the countryside speaking the secret language of wildlife, which was introduced to him by his beloved grandmother. This adoration for the outdoors combined with his ferocious appetite for reading led him into the world of perfumery. To him, scent has its own prose. He relishes the idea of adding this point of view to the natural ingredients around him to create something unique; “I love to mix, enveloping tradition with incisive modernity.”
