Our heritage
Since 1971
A journey through the history of how we became the pioneers of beauty: discover our roots in a hair salon in Mayfair until the creation of a house that bears royal approval.
Pioneers in Botany
Our story begins on South Molton Street, as small-scale craftsmen, making natural hair care products by hand in the basement of our salon. These herbal recommendations and seductive aromas formed the basis of our philosophy.
The Emblem
It was released as Britain's first luxury hand soap, 'Bubbling Orange Grove' as it was known at the time, and was recognized for its unforgettable citrus smell. Today, known as the beloved Orange & Bergamot, this first collection of ours is still our iconic bestseller.
A Life Destination
Guiding the path of culture and style, our store on South Molton Street became much more than just a salon. Inside the vegetarian café with flowers blooming on the window, the atmosphere in the hairdresser's shop approached the crème de la crème de la crème of the music industry, the cinema and the most elite in fashion.
Molton Brown showed the way, and really devoted herself to man. Each one was unique..

London via the World
A strong interest in the wonders of the journey. Each creation is made with rare ingredients from all over the world. Our body products are located in some of the best hotels in the world.
Focus on Perfume
We work with the most enthusiastic perfumers, giving them the opportunity to create truly unique aromas. Working with Master Perfumer, Jacques Chabert since 1993, whose expressive approach gave us the award-winning Re-charge Black Pepper.
Today & in the Future
Growing up from a small production unit in today's international luxury house, our heart remains in London with our iconic store on Regent Street. Our carefully studied and prepared product collections proudly carry the Royal Warrant by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen, the honorary distinction of the Queen of Great Britain, as they are the official supplier of the palace in personal care items.
